Opeongo Minor Soccer is a recreational club and, as such, falls under the Grassroots classification for coaching requirements.
As a Club, we uphold a Fair Play concept, which means all kids play, and all kids have the same opportunity to play. Coaches, please review our OMS Fair Play policy.
The following courses are available for coaches and can often be transferred to other sports. Respect in Sport a mandatory course our coaches must take. Refunds of course cost up to $30 are provided by the Club, subject to certificate provision.
Respect in Sport
Respect in Sport is a mandatory 3 hr refundable course for all coaches.
Coaching in Canada
Coaching in Canada is a mandatory FREE course for all coaches.

Additional Coach Training Courses
Opeongo Minor Soccer Club supports and encourages our coaches to seek out additional coaching qualifications. They provide a coach with the tools for teaching young athletes the love of the game and the skills that go along with it. Speak to us if you are interested in taking any of these courses.
