FAQ on Play

1. Do they play in the rain?
Yes, but not in lightning.  Please note that it may be lightning at your home but not on the pitch. The call will be made and you should be notified by the team manager.  Please refer to the lightning policy on our website.

2.  Do they play if it's super hot outside?
Yes, but there will be many water breaks given and rests for the children.  There is a league humidex policy, available on our website for when the heat/humidity is TOO hot, if soccer is canceled the manager should notify you.

3.  We are new to soccer- where can I find information about the game and rules?

Please visit our website for the Laws of the game.  You can visit the Ontario Soccer Association website under small-sided https://www.ontariosoccer.net/referee-rules

4.  How can I prepare my child?  Please talk to your child about their participation - we hope that they are as excited to start soccer as we are to have them.  Let them know that they will be playing with other children that they might not know - be kind and inclusive.  Talk to them about listening to their coach. The big thing for this year is no hands!!  Kids will get distracted during practice, may need rests, extra water breaks, etc some may even be dandelion pickers - it's OK!! We understand!
